A Message from Vince

Dear Friends, Family & Supporters:

My campaign will unify the diverse people of the 9^th Council District in Harlem for a common purpose – to create jobs, improve education and create opportunities for everyone.

I have a strong passion for my community and want to build Harlem together with my neighbors. I want to lead and restore faith in our government with honesty and integrity. I want to create opportunities for everyone and bring hope to those who feel they have been left behind. The time for new ideas and renewed energy is long overdue.

We have a choice in 2013 between progress that will unify people around a common purpose and a plan of action or the dysfunctional politics that has kept many parts of our community paralyzed with extreme economic disparities, high unemployment, underperforming schools, crime and poverty.

I have not stopped pushing forward since the last election and we have built a stronger team and a wider network, but our work will not be complete until we are triumphant on Primary Election Day, September 10, 2013. My campaign will build a powerful coalition by working hard and connecting with voters who seek new leadership that is honest, inspired and passionate about the community.

This great undertaking cannot be accomplished alone. I will need support from you and others who believe in my ability to unify all the people of Harlem. This is a critical moment and I am committed to being a strong advocate for all of the people who live in Upper Manhattan and across the country who are ready for new voices in elected office. However, I cannot succeed without your help and your support.

You can help me reach this goal by becoming a stakeholder in my campaign and making a financial contribution to support our efforts.
